About the Journal

The Journal of Resubmissions - Operations Management (JROM) considers theoretical, empirical, operations, and supply chain management manuscripts that demonstrate both academic and practical relevance. JROM welcomes articles that have been denied publication from quality journals of operation management after authors have made revisions following "Revise and Resubmit" decisions from these journals. At JROM, we believe that manuscripts that have received R&R from quality journals possess the potential to contribute substantially to the operations management literature, and therefore, authors deserve another chance at publication without having to restart the submission process from the top elsewhere. To this end, the JROM Editors and reviewers take into consideration the associated reviews and revisions from prior journals in assessing the possibility of publication in JROM. At JORM, authors are considered partners where Editors and reviewers take on a "helping" rather than a "judge" role to enable the authors to build on the positives of their manuscripts.
