About the Journal

The Journal of Resubmissions - Information & Technology (JRIT) is an academic, peer-reviewed forum for academics and scholars to exchange significant information and productive ideas associated with information and technology. The scope of JRIT includes strategy, infrastructure, human resources, sourcing system development and implementation, communications, national policies and standards technology developments, technology futures, software engineering, formal methods, and business process management. Different from other information technology journals, considers manuscripts denied publication from quality information technology journals after authors have undertaken manuscript revisions following "Revise & Resubmit (R&R)" decisions from these journals. At JRIT, we believe that articles that have received R&R from quality journals have significant contributions that need to be developed without the authors having to restart the submission process elsewhere. To this end, JRIT Editors and reviewers consider the manuscripts with their associated reviews and revisions from prior journals in making the publication decisions for JRIT. Accordingly, the JRIT family (Editors and reviewers) take on a "helping" rather than a "judge" role to enable authors to build on the positives of their manuscripts.
