About the Journal
The Journal of Resubmissions - Personnel Psychology (JRPP) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes psychological research that is focused on people at work. The journal considers empirical research, theory development, meta-analytic reviews, and narrative literature reviews that have been denied publication by quality journals of personnel psychology after authors have undertaken revisions following "Revise and Resubmit" decisions. At JRPP we believe manuscripts that receive R&R decisions possess substantial contributions that can be cultivated to benefit the personnel psychology literature. Thus, the JRPP family (editors and reviewers) takes a "helping" rather than a "judge" role to enable authors to build on the positives of their manuscripts. The scope of JRPP manuscripts is broad ranging from human resource management and organizational behavior topics, such as job analysis, selection and recruiting, training and development, performance appraisal and feedback, compensation and rewards, careers, strategic human resource management, work design, global and cross-cultural issues, teams, work attitudes and behaviors, organizational climate, motivation, role of emotions at workplace, and leadership. JRPP welcomes work that is conducted at multiple levels of analysis, including individual, team, and organizational levels.
